Fall Classes Now Available

TCMedia offers all of our media production classes in collaboration with local parks and recreation departments.

We've got several classes available from September through December.  Registration is available through the Olympia Parks Arts and Recreation Department, Lacey Parks, Culture and Recreation, and Tumwater Parks and Recreation.  You do not have to live in a specific city to register with any of them.  Just click on one of the links and it will take you to the registration page.

The total number of available seats for each class is divided between the three parks departments. If the registration link you choose shows the class as full, try one of the other links. For example, you click on the "Sign up Olympia" link and they show the class as full, try clicking on "Sign Up Lacey" or "Sign up Tumwater. " There may be open seats at one of the other parks departments.

TCMedia Wins Two National AWards

Thurston Community Media recently announced that two of their local television programs received the 2023 Hometown Media Awards from the Alliance for Community Media Foundation.

TCMedia received the Informational Talk Show Series - Access Center Professional award for its "Mission Nonprofit" series, produced and edited by Robert Kam, Martha Correa, and Jordan Plozai-Alicea. "Mission Nonprofit" is a monthly program that showcases area nonprofit organizations.  In addition, long-time public access program, "Karaoke Oly", a family-friendly, sing-along program, was acknowledged for the Entertainment & Arts Series - Independent Producer award. It is produced and directed by Robert Kam.
